IQOS Terea Sun Pearl Flavor

TEREA Sun Pearl in Dubai and the UAE: Five Origins, One Click Capsule

How the Sun Pearl Capsule Works

The "pearl" is a small flavour capsule sealed inside the filter. Until you press it, the stick tastes of its tobacco blend only. Press it and the capsule releases its flavour once, then that note stays with the tobacco until the stick ends. IQOS describes Sun Pearl as a "Refined to Exotic Fruit tobacco experience with a capsule", and our listings describe the clicked note as watermelon or fruit with menthol, depending on the origin.

To click it:

1. Find the marked pearl area on the filter, at the mouth end of the stick.
2. Hold the filter between thumb and finger, right over the mark, and press firmly until you feel or hear a small click.
3. Click before you insert the stick for the fruit note from the first puff, or partway through the session if you want to start on plain tobacco.
4. Press only the filter. Never cut or open the stick, and do not keep squeezing: a second press releases nothing more.

A stick gives up to 14 puffs, about 6 minutes, whether you click or not. If you cannot feel a click or the capsule seems already crushed, our Pearl capsule troubleshooting guide goes through each cause. TEREA Sun Pearl by Origin: Price and Stock

Prices and stock are the shop's current listings; the product page always shows the live figure. The Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Japan listings are 200-stick cartons (10 packs of 20). The Italy listing names both 20-stick packs and 10-pack cartons, so check its page for exactly what the price covers.

Which Sun Pearl Origin Should You Pick?

• Lowest price: Indonesia, then Kazakhstan.
• Malty tobacco, gentle menthol: Uzbekistan, which its listing calls mild to medium, with the menthol supporting the watermelon rather than taking over.
• Balanced tobacco, fruit and menthol: Italy, listed at medium intensity and medium cooling, with the tobacco kept more prominent than the fruit.
• Mild and light: Japan, which its listing describes as smooth, light and easy for everyday use.

The same Pearl name can taste a little different from one origin to the next, so match the note in the table to the taste you want. New to capsule sticks? Our guide to the best TEREA Pearl flavours for first-time buyers compares Sun Pearl with Oasis Pearl and the other Pearls, and the full TEREA flavour range lists every stick we carry. Devices That Work With Sun Pearl

TEREA sticks are made for IQOS ILUMA only. That includes the ILUMA i One, ILUMA i Standard and ILUMA i Prime, and our Uzbekistan and Italy listings also name the earlier ILUMA, ILUMA One and ILUMA Prime. IQOS warns not to use TEREA with previous IQOS generations, as this may damage the device; our listings name IQOS 3 DUO among the devices it will not work with.
